Adults are self-directed, experience-driven, and practical learners who need to understand the "why" behind their training. Adults are more motivated to learn things when they need know how to handle real-life situations or problems.
I am the guide, facilitator, and motivator and work to create opportunities for participants to learn to their maximum potential, as well as reflect on their experiences. I encourage discussion, case studies, and sharing, allowing participants to connect new concepts to their own backgrounds. I use role-playing, simulations, and real-world scenarios to help participants to apply knowledge immediately.
I create a respectful, culturally and psychologically safe classroom and continuously demonstrate these values.
Ninety percent of my students have rated my teaching effectiveness as either excellent or good.
